What changed

  • Converted README.md into the English documentation entry point.
  • Added README.zh-CN.md as the Simplified Chinese version.
  • Added reciprocal language-switch links and kept commands, lifecycle behavior, and safety boundaries aligned across both files.

Why

ToolTend supports an international coding-agent audience, while the existing README content was primarily Chinese. Separate English and Simplified Chinese entry points make the project easier to discover and use without mixing both languages in one long document.

Impact

Documentation only. Runtime behavior, configuration, installation flow, and release artifacts are unchanged.

Validation

  • git diff --check
  • Verified both README files have balanced fenced code blocks.
  • Verified reciprocal README links and the local LICENSE link resolve.
  • Compared the Chinese body with the previous README to ensure no content drift.
