No AI has ever been used at any stage of the projects on this account. Here are a few reasons why:
- AI usage during the learning process negatively affects your ability to learn. [1]
- Even amongst more experienced developpers, AI's benefits on productivity are largely overestimated[2][3][4]
- AI environmental impact is skyrocketting, pumping drinkable water from already dry areas and consuming more and more electricity [5][10]
- AI's need of compute power means it requires a lot of hardware whose production is polluting[6]
- The same hardware becomes less accessible to the public, raising ethical questions about equality.
- Said hardware only has an estimated 5-year lifespan and is not recycled properly in 78% cases. Additional e-waste could reach 5 million tons by 2030[7]
- New Data Centers built for AI are a local public health concern[8]
- The monetary cost of AI training and usage concentrate the most performant agents in the hands of a few private actors[5]
- As per the previous point, data sovereignty becomes a problem when using AI. We've also seen some of these companies silently installing backdoors in other apps[13]
- Lobbying by big tech companies means that we cannot rely only on state actions to regulate AI usage.[9]
- LLMs reproduce and amplify biases and inequality[12]

I've been participating in such games since 2020 as a player and dungeon master(or DM =person in charge of narrating the universe and enforcing a few rules of the game)

- Communication & Planning: We've been rassembling different groups of employed adults for 2-5 hours at least once a month - Adaptation: TTRPGs are all about improvisation.
