Welcome to the Useless Website Competition! This is a light-hearted and creative competition where the goal is to create the most useless, pointless, or absurd website you can think of. There are no wrong answers—just pure, unadulterated fun!
The purpose of this competition is to have fun and showcase creativity. The more useless, the better! This is not about functionality—it's about doing something so absurd, it leaves people scratching their heads or laughing uncontrollably.
- Create a website that is utterly and gloriously useless.
- It can be weird, funny, frustrating, or just plain odd—anything that doesn’t serve any productive purpose.
- Your website must be hosted online (GitHub Pages, Netlify, etc.).
- You must submit a link to your website along with the source code in the provided format (see submission instructions below).
Entries will be judged based on:
- Creativity: How unique and quirky is your website?
- Uselessness: Does it truly serve no real purpose?
- Design: How well does it look, given the context of uselessness?
- Absurdity: Does it make people laugh or wonder why it exists?
- All entries must be submitted by tbd.
To participate, follow these steps:
- Fork this repository.
- Create your own useless website in any format (HTML/CSS/JavaScript, React, etc.).
- Push your project to your forked repository.
- Submit a Pull Request (PR) to this repository with the following:
- The URL to your live site.
- A brief description of why your site is useless (optional but encouraged).
When submitting your pull request, include the following information:
URL: [Link to live site] Description: [Explain the absurdity or purpose of your site (optional).]
While this competition is just for fun, we encourage you to vote based on the following criteria:
- Creativity: How unique and quirky is the website?
- Uselessness: Is the website truly devoid of any practical use?
- Design: How well does it look, considering its inherent pointlessness?
- Absurdity: Does it make you laugh or wonder why it exists?
