Classes/Middleware/UserTsConfig.php calls TYPO3\CMS\Core\Utility\ExtensionManagementUtility::addUserTSConfig('admPanel.hide = 1') to hide the admin panel during a Semantilizer request. This method has been removed from TYPO3 core in v14.
Effect: Every frontend request throws a fatal error as soon as the middleware runs:
Error: Call to undefined method TYPO3\CMS\Core\Utility\ExtensionManagementUtility::addUserTSConfig()
Reproduction:
- TYPO3 v14 project
zeroseven/z7_semantilizer branch feature/typo3-14 (tested at commit d7bc2cda8a1db8eb823d9495991bd43e330f2167)- Any frontend request goes through
UserTsConfig middleware
Suggested fix: Remove the addUserTSConfig() call (and the now-unused ExtensionManagementUtility import). Note this drops the original "hide admin panel during Semantilizer request" behavior — a v14-compatible replacement (e.g. a page TSconfig data provider or a different admin panel API) would need to be found if that behavior should be kept.
We currently work around this locally with a Composer patch removing the call. Happy to share the patch if useful.
