After upgrading phpunit, comparator is throwing some weird error '[err:Error("Call to a member function sub() on null")]' so lets avoid mocking it

In this PR, I'm upgrading php code sniffer, phpunit & phpspec, with few fixes in the code/config needed for new versions to run.
