zds-bot merges bot-settings.json and bot-mcp.json across seven config tiers (lowest to highest
priority): shipped defaults, global bot config dir (set via $ZDS_AI_BOT_GLOBAL_CONFIG_DIR; this
tier is skipped entirely if unset -- no hardcoded default path), bot/agent config dir, project dir
(.zds-ai/), task dir (.zds-ai/), current working directory (.zds-ai/), and forced overrides.
A higher tier's key overrides the same key from a lower tier; keys a tier doesn't set fall through
from lower tiers. See src/utils/config-tiers.ts for the exact resolution order.
Stores API key, base URL, default/current model, the available models list, temperature,
max tokens, and hook commands. Any tier's bot-settings.json can set any of these keys.
