Report are very big

Hello,
I face an issue with the generation of reports : they are huge.
The zipped file weight ~1Go.

Here is what I see In the browser :

When I open it in notepad++ it seems that each line is is full of void characters and is ending with "+" ; each line seems to have 459 457 columns.

Version used : 4.11
PG Version : 16.13
OS : RHEL 8.10

Have you any clue on what's wrong ?

Hi! Sorry for the late answer. This is not a problem, you've just build a report incorrectly. You should feed psql with options -Aqt to avoid psql formatting of the function output (see the docs how to build a report correctly).

I've used the command psql -Aqtc "SELECT get_report(1190,2080)" -p 5433 --output /tmp/pgprofile_558211_pg16_eot.html

As I used the same command than usual, I dont get why the report is so big.

Could it be due to a sql request of our software ?

The command looks good. I think you should do some research here. profiile report is quite complicated for that.. Take any function returning a text type and try to obtain just its output in the output file, i.e. without psql formatting.
