Modpack
The ArdaCraft server requires players have certain mods installed in order to connect.
There are a number of ways to install these:
- via a modpack installer
- via a modpack launcher
- by manually creating a modded profile
The ArdaCraft launcher is a custom Minecraft launcher that automatically downloads and installs the mods required to join the ArdaCraft server.
- Download the launcher and place it in a folder where you would like to install to
- Run the launcher, log in, and select any optional mods you may wish to use
- Done
The ArdaCraft launcher is an open-source fork of the SKLauncher that can be found here.
The ArdaCraft modpack installer adds a modded 'profile' to the regular Minecraft launcher.
- First install Forge - choose the recommended release for the version of minecraft you need
- Download and run the modpack installer
- Launch the Minecraft launcher and select the modpack profile before running the game
The ArdaCraft modpack installer is an open-source project that can be found here.
This is not the recommended way to install, but if you wish to manually install the ArdaCraft modpack you can do so by visiting the latest release page of the ArdaCraft modpack.
Here you can download the 'source code' zip file, which contains the necessary mods and resources for the modpack.
It's up to you to install Forge and place the mods/resources in the correct locations within your install directory.
