feat(soloist): play through Spotify Soloist - #935
Adds Spotify Soloist as a second engine behind spotatui's own Connect device. With behavior.playback_engine: soloist, spotatui runs Spotify's official Soloist binary in place of a librespot Spirc device and drives it over Soloist's loopback WebSocket. Soloist plays for accounts where librespot gets error audio key 0 1 (#932), and it streams lossless where the account allows it.
The engine (src/infra/soloist/, src/core/app/soloist.rs):
A supervisor starts, watches and restarts the Soloist child, with a Windows Job Object and a Linux parent-death signal so no Soloist outlives spotatui. It never logs the API key, which goes on Soloist's argv.
Transports go over the WebSocket; context and URI-list starts go over connect-state to Soloist's device id.
The quality and normalization keys are seeded in Soloist's per-account prefs (FLAC 44.1 on 1.3.10, normalization off like librespot here). The playbar badge shows what Soloist reports it streams.
Setup in Settings, in the TUI and the GUI:
Soloist Path: a "Download from Spotify" button (o in the TUI) downloads the official build for this system from Spotify's CDN, only on the user's press, and saves the path. spotatui does not ship or host the binary.
Soloist API Key: a hidden row saved to soloist_credentials.yml, with a "Get a key" button for the developer dashboard. A new key restarts Soloist, so a rejected key shows at once.
Playback Engine: a change switches the engine without a restart. librespot shuts down before Soloist registers the same device name, and the switch back builds an idle librespot player.
Pairing: while Soloist waits for its first login, a modal tells the user to pick the device in Spotify on a computer, and closes when Soloist reports the login.
Blocked accounts: after three tracks in a row fail to load natively, a modal offers Soloist once per run and opens Settings at the Playback Engine row.
Also in this PR:
The repeat key sent the current repeat state instead of the next one to remote devices.
The native device row is matched by id first, so another device with the same name is not taken for it.
The soloist feature is in all-sources, the release rows of cd.yml, the macOS job and the desktop shell, and CI has a ninth leg for it.
cargo test: test result: ok. 2265 passed; 0 failed; 8 ignored
cargo test --features soloist: test result: ok. 2338 passed; 0 failed; 8 ignored
cargo clippy / cargo test with the soloist leg's features: clippy Finished; test result: FAILED. 2851 passed; 1 failed; 30 ignored. The one failure is infra::local::tests::uri_round_trip, which fails on Windows on main too (Unix path).
cargo test --manifest-path desktop/Cargo.toml: test result: ok. 7 passed; 0 failed; 0 ignored
gui/: npm run format:check, lint, typecheck, test (Test Files 61 passed (61), Tests 540 passed (540)), build: all exit 0
By hand on Windows, in the TUI, the browser GUI and the desktop app: FLAC 44.1 through Soloist, one spotatui device in the device list, repeat, a clean stop on quit and on window close. In a fresh config, state and cache: the download, a good and a wrong API key, the engine switch both ways, pairing from the phone and from the desktop app, and lossless right after the first pairing.
Additional notes
Not tested on Linux or macOS: the tar extract of the download, the parent-death signal and the macOS build. Soloist has no build for Intel Macs, so the rows are hidden there.
Not tested by hand: the offer after three failed tracks, because my account never had the audio-key block. Its parts have tests (core, TUI render, GUI protocol and component).
The Chinese texts fall back to English for now.
Each download goes into a new folder (<state dir>/soloist-bin/<time>/), because Windows cannot replace a running soloist.exe. On Windows, each new folder asks for a firewall rule once.

Summary by CodeRabbit
New Features
Added the optional Soloist playback engine, with settings for the engine, executable path, API key, and audio quality.
Added an in-app download button, setup and device-pairing prompts, playback-quality indicators, and Soloist playback controls across the desktop and terminal interfaces.
Added playback status updates and the ability to switch between Soloist and Librespot.
Bug Fixes
Improved repeat-mode handling and playback-device selection across streaming sessions.
Add an opt-in Soloist engine behind spotatui's own Connect device
(behavior.playback_engine: soloist). spotatui starts the Soloist binary
the user downloads, drives it over its loopback WebSocket, and asks for
lossless with loudness normalization off. The playbar shows the measured
stream.
Also: repeat cycles to the next state on remote devices, playlist folders
load without a librespot player, and the native device is matched by id
before name.
The Soloist Path setting gets a button (TUI o, GUI button) that downloads the official build for this OS from Spotify's CDN, extracts it with the system tar, saves soloist_path and starts the engine when it waits for one.
A Soloist API Key row (TUI and GUI) saves the key to soloist_credentials.yml beside config.yml. Its Get a key button opens Spotify's developer dashboard. A new key restarts Soloist, so a rejected key shows at once.
When Soloist waits for its first login, a modal tells the user to pick the spotatui device in Spotify on a computer. It closes on its own when Soloist reports the login over its WebSocket, or on Esc and Close.
The librespot recovery supervisor now runs under both engines. A Playback Engine change in Settings stops Soloist, then shuts librespot down before Soloist starts, or asks the supervisor for an idle librespot player. A rebuild that ends under Soloist is refused, so only one spotatui device registers.
After three tracks in a row fail to load natively (the audio-key block in #932), a modal in the TUI and GUI offers Soloist once per run. Set up opens Settings at the Playback Engine row and lists the three setup steps.
o is also the default jump_to_context key, and global keys ran first, so the Soloist Path button opened the playing playlist. Settings now takes o first when the selected row has a button.
Soloist writes a new account's prefs just after it reports the login, so the single check at the login found nothing and the first pairing streamed Vorbis until the next launch. The supervisor now checks on each message until the account prefs exist.
The switch stops the old supervisor first. With none running, Notify::notify_one stored a permit, and the new supervisor read it at its first wait and stopped Soloist before it printed anything. start now drops a stale permit.
One soloist_failed call carries the notice, dead link fields and the LoggedIn log event are gone, repeat_commands takes RepeatState, the spawn reuses quiet_command, and the Settings button key is one constant. No behavior change.

Route keys to a visible Soloist modal before the underlying screen.
When the offer or pairing guide appears over an input, dispatch_key sends keys to input_handler instead of the modal. On other screens, the configured back key can pop navigation instead of dismissing the modal. Give active Soloist modals priority before the input and back-key branches, so the visible modal receives and consumes those keys.

A Soloist modal over an open input now gets the key before the input and the back key. The GUI keeps the focus in the offer until it closes, also after Set up opens Settings. The expiry unit is read after the count itself, not after the first match of its digits.
@coderabbitai On the outside-diff finding for src/tui/runner.rs: fixed in a7ea999. dispatch_key now sends the key to handle_app while the Soloist offer or pairing guide shows, before the Input and back-key branches. A test checks that the back key over an open input closes the guide and keeps the input. Please verify.
Assert that the Soloist pairing guide is active before dispatch.
The test can pass without reaching the Soloist branch. If soloist_notice(NotPaired) stops enabling the guide, dispatch_key falls through to the Input branch. That branch types q and leaves the route unchanged, so the remaining assertions still hold. Add an assertion between the notice and the dispatch call:

# Summary
Adds a setup guide for the Soloist engine from #935, `docs/soloist.md`:
- When to use Soloist: an account that native streaming cannot play
(`error audio key 0 1`), or lossless audio.
- What you need: a build with `soloist`, Premium, a supported system, a
Soloist API key, and the Spotify app once to pair.
- The setup in five steps in Settings (download, get a key, enter it,
switch the engine, pair), with the terminal key and the GUI button for
each.
- Audio quality, switching back, the config keys and the key file, where
the files go, the limits (90-day builds, the key on Soloist's command
line, no offline mode, no other sources queued behind Spotify), and a
table from each status message to what to do.
The other docs link to it: `docs/README.md`, `docs/native-streaming.md`
(with a section for tracks that fail one after another),
`docs/configuration.md` (the three new `behavior` keys and
`soloist_credentials.yml`) and the root `README.md`.
`docs/installation.md` names the Soloist engine in the prebuilt builds
and adds `soloist` to the `cargo install` feature lines.
# Testing
Docs only. I checked every link and anchor in the new guide by hand, and
every message in the troubleshooting table against the English strings
in `src/core/i18n/status_infra.rs`. I followed the setup steps myself on
Windows, in the terminal and the desktop app, in a fresh config.
# Additional notes
The guide says "make a Soloist API key there and copy it" for Spotify's
developer dashboard; it does not name the dashboard's buttons.

Summary
Adds Spotify Soloist as a second engine behind spotatui's own Connect device. With
behavior.playback_engine: soloist, spotatui runs Spotify's official Soloist binary in place of a librespot Spirc device and drives it over Soloist's loopback WebSocket. Soloist plays for accounts where librespot getserror audio key 0 1(#932), and it streams lossless where the account allows it.The engine (
src/infra/soloist/,src/core/app/soloist.rs):Setup in Settings, in the TUI and the GUI:
oin the TUI) downloads the official build for this system from Spotify's CDN, only on the user's press, and saves the path. spotatui does not ship or host the binary.soloist_credentials.yml, with a "Get a key" button for the developer dashboard. A new key restarts Soloist, so a rejected key shows at once. Also in this PR:
soloistfeature is inall-sources, the release rows ofcd.yml, the macOS job and the desktop shell, and CI has a ninth leg for it.Refs #932

Additional notes
tarextract of the download, the parent-death signal and the macOS build. Soloist has no build for Intel Macs, so the rows are hidden there.<state dir>/soloist-bin/<time>/), because Windows cannot replace a runningsoloist.exe. On Windows, each new folder asks for a firewall rule once.💬 Questions or want to chat with other contributors? Join the spotatui Discord.
