Merging to main no longer changes the public website. Each main build, including the scheduled calendar refresh, is validated and saved as a release artifact that records its commit, Actions run ID, and the SHA-256 hash of every file. That release is deployed to preview.lasvegasfortransit.org, which sits behind Cloudflare Access. The new "Promote website release" workflow publishes a release only when a maintainer dispatches it with the ID of a successful main "Deploy staging" run. It rejects pull request, failed, and foreign runs, verifies every saved file, uploads the same compiled Worker and assets with production bindings without rebuilding, runs the browser contract checks, and then activates that exact Worker version. Each deployment serves /lvbt-release.json so staging and production can be checked against the selected release. Preview responses carry noindex and private, no-store headers, and analytics stay off on preview hostnames. Automated checks send the Access service token only to the preview origin and never follow a redirect with it. Pull requests no longer get unprotected Cloudflare Pages previews; same-repository pull requests keep their protected Worker previews. Staging needs CF_ACCESS_CLIENT_ID and CF_ACCESS_CLIENT_SECRET in the worker-preview environment and an Access policy on the lvbt-website-preview Worker before its custom domain is attached. Introduce the campaign overview and four gathering pages, with a community listening session on October 17 at Barter Beer + Mall. Explain the neighborhood planning work and invite help with community partnerships, outreach, and event resources. Keep future gathering topics clearly proposed and support links to standard LVBT event pages for RSVP when those pages are available. Co-authored-by: Codex <noreply@openai.com>

TL;DR
Introduce the Arts District Neighborhood Campaign and its gathering pages so
neighbors can learn about the campaign, attend, and help organize it.
Overview of Changes
This PR builds on #86, which installs saved staging releases and explicit
production promotion. The campaign explains how residents, workers, artists,
businesses, and community
organizations can help develop a neighborhood plan covering transit, streets,
and supportive land use. The first community listening session is October 17,
2026, at 2 p.m. at Barter Beer + Mall, with a directions link to the venue.
Four gathering pages provide practical discussion previews. The later topics
and months remain clearly proposed. Each gathering supports a link to its
standard LVBT event page for details and RSVP once that page is provided.
The campaign invites partnerships, outreach volunteers, and food, publicity,
and other event resources. It uses the shared website footer, aligns with the
site header at phone and desktop widths, and credits the real photograph and
its license. The projects directory links to the campaign.
The reviewed protected preview is
arts-copy-reviewed-1003, Worker version1ddb5111-237c-4bb2-8f40-f04ebc3c801e. The saved artifact passes file verification, pnpm checkpasses, and five campaign/event routes passed layout checks at320, 390, 820, 1440, and 1920 pixels. All five pages were also checked live.
This manual preview is not yet a promotable staging Actions release.
Follow-ups
Publish standard LVBT event pages and add their RSVP links. Add gathering
summaries, community priorities, and the neighborhood plan as they become
available. Event completion and archive updates currently require editing the
campaign rather than automatic date-based reordering.
