Add the AsahiKasei KARAKSA-F PA-CNF DX filament as a system preset for QIDI MAX4 with a 0.4 mm nozzle. It currently requires a user-imported profile; this addition makes it available under the AsahiKasei manufacturer with the product name preserved.

The preset uses 12 mm³/s maximum volumetric speed, 275°C nozzle temperature, 65°C PEI/hot/engineering bed temperature, and 0.96 flow ratio. The volume limit is deliberately conservative, selected from prior physical MAX4 calibration with QIDI BOX. It is not presented as the measured failure threshold or a manufacturer-certified flow rate. Normal cooling remains 10–30%; active chamber/BOX heating and pressure-advance override are disabled.

The material is cellulose-nanofiber-reinforced polyamide. filament_type is PA6-CF, required for the user's MAX4/BOX material acceptance; the name and filament notes identify the actual PA-CNF product. No hardened-nozzle requirement is imposed. Nozzle range is 260–280°C, including the value passed to BOX_PRINT_START for loading. DX205 density is 1.16 g/cm³ in the publicly available manufacturer TDS, CNFF-TD002-1, hosted by Filament2Print. The unverified 180°C glass-transition value in the original user profile is not copied; the common bundle default remains inherited.

Scope is limited to one non-instantiated material parent, one instantiated MAX4/0.4 mm child, and their entries in X 4 Series.json. Other DX printer/nozzle profiles and the BX grade are not added. IDs are collision-checked proposals and can be adjusted to the maintainers' allocation scheme; bundle versioning is left to the maintainers.

Validation:

  • JSON parsing, supported filament keys, inheritance order, exact machine compatibility, and ID collision checks passed; existing index entries are preserved.
  • QIDI Studio headless slicing of a 100 × 20 × 4 mm coupon with resolved MAX4/material settings succeeded without slicing warnings. Exported G-code and 3MF were checked for the 12 mm³/s cap, 275°C nozzle, 65°C bed, and BOX_PRINT_START ... HOTENDTEMP=280.
  • Prior physical test used MAX4, 0.4 mm nozzle, QIDI BOX, and 10–20 mm³/s calibration. A fresh confirmation print at 12 mm³/s has not been performed in this submission session. Full application builds and GUI selection have not been run for this preset addition.

Material documentation is limited to publicly available online sources: the Asahi Kasei product page and the linked manufacturer-authored TDS. No private technical document is included.
