## Gonol language boundary

The stack's current language-object construction is gonol-native:
The prior **lexical-floor** construction is DEPRECATED. NGSL 1.2 is a word list, not the dictionary semantic source required for the active language path, and its fixed-list closure rule has no forward authority.

UCNS has authorized a Scrabble dictionary as the replacement lexical source class. Exact edition/source identity and custody must be pinned upstream before ingestion.

P1 Badge Synchronize the mandatory agent entrypoints

Deprecating the lexical floor here leaves README.md:46-65 and CLAUDE.md:88-112 explicitly describing the fixed, closed lexical floor as the current stack architecture. Because agents are required to read all three documents, new semantic work can still follow the deprecated closure rules depending on which mandatory entrypoint it follows; update those entrypoints and their later floor-definition guidance in the same change.

The current language-object direction is gonol-native:

```text
Unicode character gonols
fixed floor word gonols
dictionary lexical entries / words
complete lexical floor F
word gonols
definitions expressed only with members of F
source-bound dictionary definitions and senses
floor-definition gonols
ordered semantic relationships among word gonols
definition gonols = first lexical deep-recursion layer
```

UCNS owns these language-object construction rules. Unicode character gonols are
the primitive inscription objects. Once the lexical floor `F` is admitted, its
floor definitions are closed over that floor:
The semantic relationships expressed by the dictionary definitions are themselves the first lexical recursive layer. They are not metadata awaiting a later embedding step.

```text
support(definition_gonol(word, sense)) ⊆ F
```

A definition that needs lexical material outside `F` is not a floor definition
and does not expand the floor. The current path does not insert conventional NLP
tokens, token IDs, subword pieces, or an opaque external embedding lookup.
Arbitrary source definition text may remain provenance but is not itself a
floor-definition gonol.
The replacement path does not insert conventional NLP token IDs, subword IDs, opaque external embedding vectors, or whole-string cryptographic hashes. Source definition prose may remain custody evidence; the semantic representation is the source-bound gonol relationship structure constructed from it.

A floor-definition gonol is intended to occupy the semantic-representation role
for which conventional systems commonly use vector embeddings. That analogy
establishes no semantic quality, metric behavior, equivalence, benchmark
advantage, or downstream utility.

EDCM may consume exact UCNS gonol identities and source-bound receipts only
under an explicit consumer contract. Any EDCM scalar projection or measurement
must separately declare its mapping and information loss. UCNS representation
does not activate or validate EDCM measurement; EDCM outcomes do not validate
UCNS semantics, proof status, or construction law.

Historical EDCM experiment or profile surfaces may retain `token` and
`word-gonol` terminology where those names are part of frozen evidence. Such
terms do not create a tokenizer layer or redefine the current lexical primitive.
Historical artifacts are not rewritten by this correction.

For new language-semantic experiments, the experiment must additionally retain:

- the exact UCNS lexical-floor identity;
- source-bound floor-definition-gonol receipt identities;
- floor-closure verification for every admitted definition;
- constituent order, multiplicity, sense, context, source, and provenance;
- explicit failure on tokenizer, subword, opaque-vector, or out-of-floor substitution;

- source-bound dictionary-definition-gonol receipt identities;
- constituent order, multiplicity, occurrence position, sense, context, source, and provenance;
- explicit failure on tokenizer, subword, opaque-vector, or whole-string-hash substitution;
- the EDCM projection and declared information loss separately from the UCNS representation; and
- preregistered comparison criteria before semantic or downstream outcome inspection.

Historical lexical-floor artifacts may be reproduced against their original exact inputs, but their fixed-list closure criteria are not forward experiment requirements.

Hypothesis failure is a valid experiment result and must not be converted into a build failure merely to preserve a preferred model.

## hmmm

The exact UCNS relation/composition law for closed floor-definition gonols and
the source/custody procedure for a complete closed definition set remain
upstream unresolved boundaries. EDCM has not yet selected a lawful projection,
metric, benchmark, or falsifier for evaluating that future representation.
External holdout custody, independently authored graph annotations, human
outcome labels, multilingual evidence, separate implementation replication, and
the authority procedure for the first joint canon selection also remain open.
