Summary

Re-plans FreeOS around ordinary-user jobs instead of Octop admin IA, and adds a read-only scan of skills / plugins / MCP already installed by common desktop AI tools.

Sidebar is only these eight items: 对话, 专家, 模型, 知识库, 组织 OS, 个性化, 项目/任务/对话区, Token 统计. Separate 「能力」「系统设置」「控制」「管理」 groups are gone. Channels, connectors, skill packages, and former System Settings modules live under 个性化 top tabs. Models is a first-class /models page.

Local AI discovery (read-only): FreeOS probes documented paths for Ollama, Claude Desktop / Claude Code, Codex, WorkBuddy / CodeBuddy, Cursor, Continue, Windsurf, Cline, and VS Code MCP. Users can register a found skill, plugin, or MCP server into FreeOS. Third-party files are never rewritten.

Still included from P0/P1: Windows terminal reconnect after process exit -1, faster openXYOS sidecar (compiled server.js, no 45s wait, auto-start), download latest openXYOS source, catalog module toggles synced into the preview sidebar, loop-timeline i18n, local-folder KB mount (source stays read-only; distill to a new folder), ima/cloud KB attach without local parse, hardware-aware local model probe, group @所有人 / @everyone, and local vs cloud token totals.

Version stays 0.0.1. Does not merge to main and does not replace Release assets.

Tradeoffs / follow-ups

• Claude-format plugins without plugin.yaml import their skills/ tree into a FreeOS skill package rather than pretending they are harness plugins.
• Ollama is detected as installed when present, but it has no skill/plugin/MCP catalog; models stay on the Models page.
• Project-scoped .mcp.json files are not walked from arbitrary disks (unbounded). Only user-level documented paths are scanned.
• Nested PageShell chrome can still appear when Connectors / Skill Packages / Admin pages are embedded in Personalization tabs.
• Browser end-to-end of the Wails desktop shell was not run in this environment.
