Supersedes dependabot #99 minus the typescript 7.0.2 bump: @typescript-eslint 8.65.0 (latest) peer-caps typescript at <6.1.0, so TS stays ^6.0.3 until typescript-eslint supports 7.x.

Takes over dependabot #99: applies @types/node 26.1.2 + eslint 10.8.0, holds typescript at ^6.0.3 - @typescript-eslint 8.65.0 (latest) peer-caps typescript at <6.1.0, so the 7.0.2 bump ERESOLVE-fails npm ci. TS 7 lands once typescript-eslint supports it (dependabot will re-offer it - no ignore rule added, per policy).
Verified: npm run verify green locally.
