Range: 19a11eb..6316e10, first half of the audit; the ios, leasing, dispatcher and http files moved to #1086 to stay under the 1,500-line cap. Tests only; source untouched.

Files: src/cli/index, src/daemon/main, src/daemon/server, src/agent-device/edge, src/updater/index, src/spec-lint, ui/src/state/queries, src/drivers/android/input/device-input. Left for the next run: the other 153 changed test files.

Test counts (before -> after): cli 384->380, daemon/main 151->149, daemon/server 137->133, edge 229->225, updater 31->32; queries, spec-lint, device-input unchanged. Net -13.

Applied verdicts: DELETE/MERGE/TABLE collapse duplicate or data-only tests; FIX adds an assertion proven by a temporary source break, or narrows a title.

Bug found: two cli tests keep not.toBe(0): daemon start reports an invalid config.json as INTERNAL (exit 1), not exit 2. Filed as #1084.

Review in Change Stack →

Walkthrough

The changes update tests across agent-device edge handling, CLI commands, daemon startup and protocol behavior, Android input, task linting, updater argument parsing, and UI lease-renewal timing. They add and consolidate coverage, tighten selected assertions, and remove several existing tests and log-related assertions. No public declarations changed.

Priority: Low

Merge Risk: Low · up to d66dd

The change is mergeable with awareness that repeated Android size-read warnings are no longer covered by a test.

Description check Passed The description directly matches the tests-only changes. It identifies the audited files, test-count changes, review findings, and known CLI assertions.
Full details: Docstring Coverage

Explanation

Docstring coverage is 0.00% which is insufficient. The required threshold is 80.00%. Docstring coverage is scoped to functions touched by this diff with cyclomatic complexity of at least 2. Documentation-only edits and deletions within surviving functions are included; unchanged diff context and fully deleted functions are excluded. Analyzed 3 functions across 8 files.

Resolution

Write docstrings for the functions missing them to satisfy the coverage threshold.

Keep the warning-once assertion in this test.

SilentLogger and the removed assertion mean this test no longer checks that consecutive size-read failures emit "Could not read the screen size" only once. The production code still implements that behavior. Keep a recording logger or add a focused logger spy. (raw.githubusercontent.com)

Review findings (round 1, d66dd5d)

Lenses: code/tests (Opus/high), claims (Sonnet/medium); spec skipped (no issue). Both Assessment: complete.

  • Claims: F0.
  • Code/tests: R1 src/daemon/server.test.ts:400 retitled test says it renews a lease but checks only ok:true. Nonblocking: the test is the command-routing smoke test, and renewal is proven by the admin renew test at :2771 (checks ttlDeadline) and the lifecycle tests.
  • The 23 removed tests: each claim still has a remaining test, or is a log-line assertion no user doc describes (testing rule 8).
  • EVENTS.md:111 daemon.driver-discovery: untouched line, logger still child("driver-discovery") at main.ts:1258; not a PR defect.

No blocking findings. Rerun: none.

…19a11eb (#1086)

Range: `19a11eb..6316e10`, second half of the audit split out of #1039
to stay under the 1,500-line cap. Tests only; source untouched.

**Files:** src/drivers/ios/index, src/leasing/create-leasing,
src/gateway/dispatcher, src/http/app.

**Test counts (before -> after):** ios 195->193, create-leasing
184->183, http/app 180->172, dispatcher 91->93. Net -9.

**Applied verdicts:** DELETE/MERGE/TABLE collapse duplicate or data-only
tests; FIX adds an assertion proven by a temporary source break, or
narrows a title. The `supportsPersistentSlim` unit test is kept, so its
export (and the source) stay as on main.
