Refs #55

Summary

Validation

  • native repository-continuity validation passed with --continuity-transition post-merge, --continuity-disposition updated, and verified GitHub evidence
  • only the two intended observe-stage warnings remain: provisional Hygiene compatibility evidence and unreleased continuity contracts
  • git diff --check
  • checkpoint bounds: 8,763 bytes and 174 lines (limits: 16,384 bytes and 240 lines)
  • follow-up CI run #131 and Dogfood run #76 passed
  • merged implementation CI run #129 and Dogfood run #74 passed

Scope

This PR changes only CONTINUITY.md. It does not alter the merged validator or claim the upstream release gate has passed.

Closed as the obsolete side of the duplicate post-merge reconciliation. PR #58 merged first and now forms the current base. The stronger release-gate reasoning and validation evidence from this PR are being preserved in a clean reconciliation from current main; issue #55 has been reopened because its released Aether/Hygiene contract criterion remains unmet.

The clean successor is #59, based on current main. It preserves this PR's accurate release-gate reasoning and validation evidence without retaining the conflict introduced when #58 merged first.
