Fran Cervantes Martínez

I build finance-focused software, with an emphasis on macroeconomic modelling, scenario analysis and market data workflows.

My background is in economics. I like small, transparent models where the assumptions are visible, the data flow can be traced and the output is useful without a long explanation.

Current Focus

  • Macroeconomic scenario design and stress testing.
  • Translating economic assumptions into reproducible Python models.
  • Clear browser-based tools for exploring model outputs.
  • Financial data pipelines and lightweight analytical interfaces.

Selected Work

  • macro-scenario-generator — an interactive macroeconomic scenario lab for tracing demand, supply, policy, fiscal and risk shocks.
  • hormuz-shock-model — a compact New Keynesian supply-shock simulation with a Taylor-rule response.

Technical Stack

Python, pandas, NumPy, JavaScript, HTML/CSS and GitHub Actions.
