Durable research can now investigate an objective with up to three search queries and eight retained sources, within the recorded time and content limits. Sources are collected across the planned queries so one query does not consume the whole budget. Missing evidence produces an explicit coverage warning. An interrupted external request with an unknown outcome is not silently repeated.
The optional
as_ofsetting evaluates evidence for a specified date. It does not fetch archived pages or pretend that a current page proves what was true in the past. When the evidence cannot establish the requested historical validity, the run reports that limitation.Research completion, failure and cancellation callbacks are stored for delivery after a restart. Retries reuse the same signed event body and ID, validate the destination again, and stop after three attempts. The run reports delivery as unconfirmed when acknowledgement cannot be established. Callback response bodies are not downloaded.
Explicit follow-ups can use these settings through the API, CLI and MCP. Preview remains read-only. The CLI also uses the correct execution URL and displays the admission result correctly.
Validation: nine HTTP acceptance cases passed against isolated PostgreSQL 17 and Valkey with local search, capture, model and callback services. They cover separate objectives, retained evidence, restart reads, callbacks, date handling, CLI/MCP follow-ups, session citations and deletion. These are integration checks, not a live-provider quality comparison. Final required CI runs against this PR after merging the completed recovery and storage changes. No deployment is included.
