How to reproduce the issue:

Open any API page with the display in light mode (either via OS settings or via the menu on the page)

The text and background are correctly set to light mode, but the code blocks and inline code fragments continue to use their dark mode colours, making them jarring / distracting. In dark mode these elements blend more seamlessly with the rest of the content.
