Audit summary

Hygiene pass on main (Kubrick v0.16.0). Secrets/credentials scan was clean; hub mirror (skills/kubrick) was already in sync. High-priority items fixed here; CI is green on the promoted hardened workflow.

Fixed here

Issue Action
Ephemeral agent scratch on main (PR_BODY.md, PR_BODY_HARDENING.md, PUSH_INSTRUCTIONS.md) Deleted (including hub copy)
Scratch files not fully excluded from packaging / hub sync Updated sync/package/check scripts + .gitignore
Tool caches (.mypy_cache, .ruff_cache) could be rsynced into the hub Excluded + cleaned in sync_hub_skill.sh
docs/README.md still claimed 0.14.0 / 12 intents Updated to 0.16.0, 15 intents, current + historical index
Hardened CI lived only under docs/ci/ Promoted to .github/workflows/hermes-evals.yml
Hermes submission docs pointed at root PR_BODY.md Inline PR-body template in docs/HERMES-OFFICIAL-SUBMISSION.md
Promoting hardened CI exposed latent stdlib / ruff / mypy failures Stdlib-safe skips for YAML adapt/schema enrichment; ruff + mypy clean

Still healthy

  • No .env / PEM / credential files; no backup/OS junk
  • Version alignment → 0.16.0
  • Hub sync gate PASS
  • GitHub Actions: all 17 checks green (stdlib matrix × 3 OS × 5 Pythons, validation-eval, dev-static)

Findings left for follow-up

  1. ~30 stale remote agent branches — prune after merge confirmation
  2. Historical roadmap/release doc sprawl — optional docs/archive/ later
  3. docs/superpowers/ planning artifacts — archive when treated as historical only
  4. Missing community scaffolding — no CONTRIBUTING / CODE_OF_CONDUCT / CODEOWNERS / .editorconfig
  5. Tests mostly under scripts/test_*.py — unconventional but workable
  6. Open issues v0.15: First-class design.md, script, image, and video production surfaces #33 / OpenClaw branch: align with Hermes main architecture (v0.13+ intent router) #32 — may be closable now that v0.16 is on main

Test plan

  • Local validators + surface/cross-surface/io tests
  • ruff / mypy on hardened targets
  • check_hub_sync
  • GitHub Actions green on this PR

Remove committed PR/push scratch files, exclude them from hub packaging,
bring docs/README to v0.16, and promote the hardened Hermes eval workflow.

Skip YAML-list enrichment assertions without PyYAML, clear ruff F401/F541/F841
and line-length issues in production_surface/surface_compilers.

Co-authored-by: Daniel Meyer <DKMeyer1@student.fullsail.edu>
Use JSON shot envelopes in cross-surface acceptance, fix mypy unused-ignore,
and exclude .mypy_cache/.ruff_cache from hub packaging sync.

stdlib CI has no PyYAML/jsonschema; keep e2e surface flow green and
defer artifact schema checks to the validation-eval profile.

Co-authored-by: Daniel Meyer <DKMeyer1@student.fullsail.edu>
Move the PyYAML/jsonschema gate above adapt so stdlib CI exercises
create/improve/script/image/video/reconcile without hard-failing.
