Real bug found live: searching "bpm" (the product's own short name) in Spotlight found nothing and offered a Stocks ticker suggestion instead - CFBundleName/CFBundleDisplayName don't affect Spotlight matching at all (confirmed empirically); it's the bundle's actual folder name. Renamed to "Bambu Profile Manager (bpm).app", verified with mdimport+mdfind against a real /Applications install.

Real bug found live: searching Spotlight/Launchpad for "bpm" - the product's own short name, used everywhere including the install command - found nothing, and macOS offered its Stocks ticker-lookup suggestion instead (BPM reads as a plausible 3-letter ticker), which looks like a real result until clicked.

Root cause confirmed empirically: CFBundleName/CFBundleDisplayName in Info.plist do NOT affect Spotlight matching at all - mdfind found zero matches for "bpm" with only those fields set. kMDItemDisplayName (what Spotlight/Launchpad actually match against) comes from the .app bundle's own folder name. Renamed the bundle itself to "Bambu Profile Manager (bpm).app" - verified with mdimport + mdfind against a real /Applications install that "*bpm*" now matches. Release asset filenames are unaffected (still the technical BpmTray_... names).
