Summary

Adds research/reviews/site-review-2026-09-09.md: an eight-lens review of the site at v1.23.0 (main f169fc7), following the convention of the 6 September audit. Every finding was re-verified against a CI-identical local build before inclusion.

  • 59 findings confirmed (7 high, 29 medium, 23 low); 1 rejected as already fixed in Fix playback, outcome-led pilot decisions and release integrity #55; 13 lowered, 1 raised during verification
  • Prior findings R01, R02, R04, R07, R08, R13, R14, L03, L04, L06, L07 confirmed fixed; R09 partially resolved; L01 regressed; L02 and L05 still open
  • Strengths recorded so they are preserved: economics/claims discipline, PAY-142 consistency, regulatory accuracy, narration completeness, layout/accessibility fundamentals

Top recommendations (ranked by impact on landing the pitch per unit of effort)

  1. Write one "The decision we are asking for" slide; close both EVP decks, the guided route and /discovery/ with it; reconcile the three pilot clocks to one _data source
  2. Choose one client frame ("Our Banking Client" vs "fictional fintech") and enforce it everywhere
  3. Make Present actually present: hide the idle narration panel, one frame formula, layer the cover tag, then floor type sizes
  4. End every deck on the ask: guided routes for the industry decks now, native re-sequencing with an Appendix chapter next edition
  5. Say who is asking and what is synthetic: attribution block, media credit, narration provenance, a /credits/ page
  6. Reorder the value story: why now, the regulator, a position, then capacity
  7. One-day hygiene sweep (unused Mermaid CDN script, AppSec PDF deletion, 42 superseded PDFs, eager audio fetches, deck CLS, sidebar utility links, contrast, FlakyGuard record)
  8. Replace the homepage live iframe with poster cards; keep one audience-aware embed on /briefings/
  9. Produce the 15-minute leave-behind (route-ordered PDF + one-page memo) and declare one default path
  10. Slow the release train and make CI runnable locally

Method

Eight independent reviewer agents, one lens each, then cross-lens consolidation, then adversarial verification (accuracy, materiality, actionability) of every finding, a completeness pass that added two probes (third-party runtime code; media provenance/licensing), and synthesis. Measurements used Playwright at 1280×720, 1366×768, 1920×1080 and 390×664, ffprobe, pypdf, git object accounting and gh run/release listings. Limits are stated in §6 of the report. Screenshots taken during the review are not committed.

Notes

  • Documentation only; research/ is excluded from the Jekyll build, so no site output changes.
  • Intended for review, not immediate merge.

Eight-lens review (strategy, information architecture, visual design,
decks, evidence, engineering, web quality, audience simulation) of the
site at main f169fc7, each finding re-verified against the CI-identical
local build. 59 findings confirmed (7 high, 29 medium, 23 low), one
rejected as already fixed, ranked into ten recommendations. Follows the
research/reviews convention set by the 6 September audit.

Implementation of the accepted recommendations is tracked in #57. Priorities are release preflight, presentation readability, outcome-first audience routes and closing decisions, existing-vs-new architecture, navigation, on-demand audio, evidence metadata and publication hygiene.

Agreed adjustments: retain Our Banking Client with concise scenario disclosure; explain the three timeline scopes; keep full decks and the optional 3D demo; retain version and latest-change information; put attribution/media provenance on existing pages. FlakyGuard's exact figures and some design tokens already exist. Mermaid's top-level version is pinned, although the unused CDN loader should go. Missing public licence receipts do not establish a licence breach.

I reproduced #56's preflight failure against the existing tag. The review stays open until the accepted fixes are implemented, deployed and verified.

The accepted recommendations from this review are implemented by merged PR #58 and published in v1.24.0.

The resolution record identifies the accepted fixes, corrections to the review, and intentionally deferred suggestions. Our Banking Client, the illustrative scenario disclosure, complete technical material, optional 3D demonstration and material evidence limits are retained as agreed.

Issue #57 contains the completion evidence: final PR and main CI passed; GitHub Pages and the release published; live Chromium/WebKit playback, captions, routes, platform-flow synchronization, readiness links and release assets verified.

Closing this review-only PR as addressed by #58. Its review remains available here; the implementation and resolution record are on main.
