How to refer to XCIST in publications

The authors request that any publications that rely on XCIST include a reference to its release number, to our XCIST overview publication, and to the XCIST GitHub website.

For example the following sentence may be used: "All simulations were performed with the CatSim simulator in the open-source X-ray and CT simulation toolkit XCIST (release 1.4.4), which is described in [1] and can be downloaded from [2]."
