The homepage now presents pip install agentdescent beside the agent-first workflow, but the published v0.5.0 package does not provide the current plugin workflow; the new quickstart itself requires cloning main and explicitly says to use that checkout for plugins. A new user following this prominent command therefore installs a release that cannot support the advertised Claude Code/Codex/OpenCode setup. Use the main checkout command here or clearly label this as a library-only stable install.

After the plan is displayed, this re-enables the start button, and the approval handler never disables it again. If a user clicks “Start sample conversation” while the asynchronous approved run is animating, a second start handler clears the chat and resets phase, while the first handler continues appending START/STATUS/SHOW messages and overwriting the phase; the resulting conversation and approval state are interleaved. Keep the start control disabled until the approval handler finishes or cancel the previous playback before restarting.

If the user changes the artifact preset after starting a conversation but before approving or while the animation runs, this reads the mutable global activeKind, so the SHOW message can describe a code or prompt change even though the initial request and plan were for a skill. Snapshot the selected kind for the active conversation or lock the preset controls until playback completes.
