fix(proxies): keep the running copy when a redeploy's tunnel cannot start - #267
Redeploying a proxied copy could leave the proxy with no copy at all. deployProxied removed the old earner and tunnel, then started the new tunnel. If the new tunnel could not start, for example because its image was not available locally or the proxy did not answer within the ready timeout, the old copy was already gone. Only changing the order of the calls does not work, because the tunnel name is fixed and Docker refuses a second container with that name.
The new tunnel starts as cashpilot-tunnel-<slug>-p<id>-next beside the running copy. sidecarCreate gives it the final hostname from the start. If it never proves an exit, it is removed and the running copy is untouched.
Once it is ready, the old pair goes (earner first) and the tunnel is renamed to its final name. Both steps run under proxiedSwap, a lock the status read also takes, so a status read cannot start an earner that is being removed or read a half-swapped pair. If the swap fails, the staged tunnel is removed.
The status read never reports a staged tunnel. It sweeps one older than staleTestTunnel, which means the deploy that staged it died, since a staged tunnel holds the proxy login.
A leftover under the staged name is replaced only if it carries this copy's labels. Otherwise the deploy refuses and leaves it alone.
tunnelDocker gains rename (ContainerRename on the live daemon).
Tests (all fail on main):
TestDeployStartsTheEarnerOnlyAfterTheTunnelIsReady: the order is now staged create, copy, start, rename, then the earner.
From the review of the web fix to the thread on GeiserX/CashPilot#576 at app/proxy_tunnel.py:344, whose code Desktop #245 ported.
Review follow-ups: deploys of one copy run one at a time under a per-copy lock, so a second deploy never takes the first one's staged tunnel for a leftover (TestTwoDeploysOfOneCopyTakeTurns). Without the lock it failed 4 of 20 runs. TestAFailedPromotionRemovesTheStagedTunnel covers a failed rename.
Summary by CodeRabbit
Bug Fixes
Proxied-copy redeployments now keep the existing working copy running until a replacement tunnel is ready and validated.
If a replacement cannot be started or validated, the current copy remains available instead of being left offline.
Successful redeployments switch to the replacement only after it is ready, reducing interruptions during updates.
…tart
deployProxied removed the old pair before the new tunnel started, so a tunnel
that failed to start left no copy. The new tunnel now starts as <name>-next
beside the running copy; once it has an exit, the old pair goes and the tunnel
is renamed, under a lock the status read shares. The status read skips staged
tunnels and sweeps stale ones. Mirrors GeiserX/CashPilot#632.

Walkthrough
Proxied-copy redeployment now starts and validates a staged replacement tunnel before removing the existing earner and tunnel. Status reads omit staged tunnels, and the sweeper removes staged tunnels that are at least five minutes old.

Summary
Staged tunnel naming and promotion support internal/runtime/proxied.go, internal/runtime/proxied_test.go
The runtime adds a staged tunnel name and hostname handling, and supports Docker container renames. It also adds locks for deployment and status coordination. The fake Docker daemon supports rename behavior and failure injection.
Replacement deployment and validation internal/runtime/proxied.go, internal/runtime/proxied_test.go, CHANGELOG.md
deployProxied starts and validates the staged tunnel before removing the existing pair, then renames the tunnel and creates the earner. Tests cover failed validation, promotion order and hostname, rename failure, and concurrent deployments. The changelog records the redeployment fix.
Staged tunnel status and cleanup internal/runtime/proxied.go, internal/runtime/proxied_test.go
Status reads omit staged tunnels, and the sweeper removes staged tunnels that are at least five minutes old. Tests cover status filtering, cleanup, and protection of staged-name containers owned by another service.
Replacement startup failures preserve the running copy, but promotion failures can still stop it until another deployment succeeds. Concurrent processes and long-running deployments also risk losing their staged tunnel. Resolve these failure paths before merging unless explicitly accepted.

Explanation
The title names the main change: a redeploy whose tunnel fails to start now keeps the running copy. The changeset stages a replacement tunnel beside the running pair, and the old earner and tunnel are removed only after the new tunnel is ready. The title matches the CHANGELOG entry, the proxied.go deployment logic, and the new tests.

A deploy removed any staged tunnel of ours as a leftover, and the status read
swept any older than five minutes. A second app on the same Docker host, or a
deploy still waiting for the swap, could lose its tunnel after the old pair was
gone. A deploy now refuses a staged tunnel younger than the sweep age, and the
sweep skips one whose copy is being deployed in this app.
