#Overview
ROS has very limited 'documentation' on this: http://www.ros.org/wiki/qt_create
But the GUI side of is just based around the QT framework ( http://qt-project.org/doc/ )
#Implementation (ROS Electric)
##Creating a package
Similar to normal procedure: rosrun qt_create roscreate-qt-pkg _pkg-name_
rosrun qt_create roscreate-qt-pkg _pkg-name_
This generates some example code that can / needs to be edited.
##Editing the generated code
To create the GUI, QT has a useful WYSIWYG editor
sudo apt-get install qtcreator qtcreator-doc
The QT Designer app just creates the GUI .ui layout file, whereas the QT Creator app is more of a fully featured IDE.
