P1 — Current Windows screenshots and beginner-facing public website (2026-10-25)

Operator-supplied, real captures now committed

• Added eight unmodified original PNG files and eight full-resolution, optimized WebP derivatives for actual ARSAS v1.6.42 UI: IED Browser, Event Logs, Signal Testing/FAT, FAT PDF Preview, SV/SMV, GOOSE, Annunciator, Diagnostics. All 16 images are present in landing/assets/screenshots/, with exact Git blob SHA/byte length recorded in the machine-validated asset provenance manifest. Original PNGs remain clickable at full resolution.
• Updated bilingual homepage hero and six-card screenshot gallery, guided EN/ID demo with eight accessible tabs/panels, Quick Start (step 3 actual v1.6.42 IED Browser), README current-product gallery, and release notes FAT PDF preview. The two startup/Connect dialogs were not included in submitted captures and remain explicitly labeled historical v1.6.40 examples; SCL/COMTRADE historical captures likewise remain truthful.
• Accurate per-feature accessibility alt text, original aspect ratio (FAT preview 1862×951; other images 1866×953), responsive WebP generation provided by the existing Pages workflow.
• EN/ID FAQ and FAQPage structured data now correctly distinguish Installer vs Portable single EXE, never Portable ZIP.
• EN/ID compatibility pages now disclose the operator's scoped v1.6.42 FAT observations (5/5 sessions, 183/183 initial values, 14/14 RCB paths, selected successful control checks). Official independently accepted field-record counter remains zero, rather than implying broad IEC 61850 certification.
• Strengthened validation: eight demo tabs/panels with all eight PNG/WebP pairs; updated asset provenance inventory from 65 to 81 checked blobs with actual hash/size; separate content/privacy review remains a human responsibility.

Release and safety boundaries

Static documentation/media only. No changes to VERSION, .release/windows.json, engine lock, IEC 61850 runtime, generated installer/portable or public stable v1.6.42 tag. The screenshots include private-network IED addresses as supplied and approved for publication by the user; no independent sensitive-information sanitization review is asserted. Operator capture is not physical R7/R10 acceptance, universal multi-vendor compatibility proof, or lossless SOE qualification. Preserve PR #729 qualification gates.

Validation

Target: CI website source/rendered checks, public Pages image existence and href integrity, provenance verifier, accessibility/SEO and normal Windows application build. Merge only after required CI checks pass, then verify current rendered Pages and stable download links.

2026-10-25 P1 cross-thread checkpoint — current v1.6.42 website media

Commit dc60643aac486750261887d23e68858d19a79047 updates only tests/ARSAS.Tests/WebsiteHeroLocalizationRegressionTests.cs on this PR (no release/app/engine changes).

• Fixed four bilingual beginner-flow assertions: first two source-dialog images remain explicitly historical v1.6.40; step 3 requires actual v1.6.42 IED Browser WebP plus full-resolution PNG link.
• Updated homepage screenshot regression to require current v1.6.42 hero/current gallery rather than old responsive sizes markup.
• Added dual-locale guided demo assertions for all eight actual v1.6.42 PNG+WebP image pairs.
• Independently checked homepage/Quick Start/demo source references, zero missing expected image links.
• Current release ledgers landing/latest.json and .release/published.json agree on v1.6.42 source 3db2ca98..., Setup.exe and Portable.exe hashes.

Exact-head GitHub Actions: Pages source validation, adoption, health, golden tests and the canonical Windows Build solution + ARSAS app regression tests + native ArdIrec bridge have succeeded. Remaining Windows package publish/smoke and parallel Field Capture workflow were still running at last audit. No merge/deployment claim yet. Merge this docs/media PR into main only after required checks finish successfully. This is independent of draft source-promotion PR #729 and physical R7/R10 release gates; do not change immutable v1.6.42 assets.

• MERGED docs(P1): publish 8 authentic v1.6.42 PNG/WebP screenshots and polish public onboarding #743 into main: merge commit c7c4ddcbbc13dcd1a7d13a88e5f6252b45de2e99; tested feature head dc60643aac486750261887d23e68858d19a79047.
• 14/14 exact-head GitHub Actions workflows SUCCESS, including Build ARSAS, full app regressions, native ArdIrec bridge, Windows portable package/smoke, Smart Discovery Field Capture, adoption, website source/Pages validation and production guards.
• Public GitHub Pages independently checked after merge: https://masarray.github.io/arsas/ hero now serves arsas-ied-browser-v1.6.42.webp (not archived v1.6.40 hero); https://masarray.github.io/arsas/demo.html serves all eight actual v1.6.42 screenshot sets; https://masarray.github.io/arsas/quick-start.html uses current IED Browser with archived setup-dialog captions.
