Analytics

This is the last part of the technical manual of the RDQA Program. You will find all program indicators in this manual plus a general overview of the tables that you can create using this program.

Program indicators

Program indicators allow to generate calculated fields which can then be used to visualize data within DHIS2. We do not suggest you to modify program indicators to ensure the program operability, however, if you are in need of adding new health areas, please ensure that you also add its respective program indicator.

Dashboards

This section includes pivot tables that you need to create your own dashboard. To perform these dashboards we created new organisation units intended to work as examples, for real projects, please use your own organisation units.

RDQA Dashboard

Within this RDQA Dashboard section, you will find a quick overview of the number of assessments performed during a time period, disaggregated by location, health area, projects and donors. The following pivot tables were constructed using the Events Reports App and The Data Visualizer App within DHIS2. We will indicate which one was used.

Also, it is worth to mention that the time periods are modified depending on the period the data was acquired, on this technical manual, we have included randomized data during the periods of June and July of 2021. Also, organisation units were created along the way to serve as examples, please consider using your own organisation units to ensure data appears within DHIS2 accordingly.

Health Area Data Verification Score by indicator

In this section of the RDQA Dashboard, you find the verification score divided on all the areas the RDQA program grades. This includes accuracy, availability, completeness and other of the data within your organisation.

As oppose to the Health Area Scores which utilize the Data Visualizer App, the verification score by indicator utilizes the Event Reports. For projects of your own, modify your Organisation Units and Health Areas based on your needs.

We provide the basic on how to set up the RDQA Program, for changes we suggest you to check the following insights:

  1. If you decide to change the name of any Health Area (coded "HA"), as long as you keep the same code, the program will work as intended.
  2. If you add a new Health Area, thus a new code, please ensure to add its respective program rule and program indicator. You can always visit our Metadata management guide for instructions.
