A spatial volume that is characterized by planar surfaces without texture (but that would not work for a mine shaft), also, for indoors we can generalize about some cellular and satellite services (GPS) not being consistently available? Semantically, having a roof above you that obstructs access to satellites (eg., in a mine shaft, in a train station, under surface of a body of water)
