Create Roles

Drupal allows creation of flexible roles. For our purposes we create the following roles and delete the default Content Editor role. To edit the roles go to Administration > People and go to the Roles tab.

• Patient
• Coordinator
• Doctor
• Nurse
• Project Manager
• Administrator

Note that Anonymous user and Authenticated user roles are default and will be left as such. Note how the roles are ordered from the least permissive role (Anonymous User) being on the top and others being down. Project managers are users with a greater degree of administrative power with respect to management of users.
