Questionnaire Configuration

In order to configure questionnaires we adopt the following strategy:

• Questionnaires are created using webform.
• Webform nodes are setup for each questionnaire. See Webform Node Configuration for the rationale and how this integrates with Permission Configuration and understand the Patient Access Configuration Logic.
• A View is setup which lists all Webform nodes (questionnaires) on the site.
• Creating and editing Webforms can be done by Project Managers. See Webform Permissions and Setting Up Questionnaires pages to learn more about this. See also the Webform Settings page for understanding the various settings that are available.
• Access control to the Webform nodes is provided using the Permission By Term Module
• Only patients can submit answers to questionnaires - this is restricted through access at the Webform level. See Webform Permissions page for details.
• Finally we setup a mechanism for storing data from the questionnaires as specific content types such that data can be queried across all patients. This will also streamline future data export to other databases. We use the Webform Entity Handler module for this.
