The Moon

Beyond Cloud-town is a moon or space station of some kind. it was designed to terraform, control weather extremes, and maintain the integrity of the Mega Eye. It's impossible to enter, and impossible to control, but if you could, you'd control or influence the weather, asteroid-falls...? Legends tell there could be more books, not destroyed by water or turned to dust, maybe ones that were of no use on Town World? History books?

It isn't actually that far away from Town World but is not very large either, so it appears about as big or bigger than Earth's moon from the surface. It's basically hollow, with corridors, hallways, and a series of "shells" inside. This houses all the equipment to manage Town World, but there's a lot of empty living space left over from construction.
